I’m Ed Houston, founder of EDH Inspired Ideas, and my work centers on a simple but often overlooked truth: nothing essential about who you are needs to be added — only remembered.
After 25+ years in corporate leadership — rising from the copy room to the C-suite and helping build a billion-dollar company — I experienced a profound personal dismantling that stripped away everything I had built my identity on. What emerged on the other side became the foundation of my first book, Embrace Your Truth: Unleashing the Courage in You, and the work I do today.
Through conversations, storytelling, and grounded spiritual insight, I help people move from judgment into self-love, from hiding into honesty, and from confusion into a more embodied way of living.
What makes my work distinct is this: I don’t position myself as the answer. I serve as a mirror. Because the truth people are searching for has never been outside of them.
I’m Ed Houston, founder of EDH Inspired Ideas. For years I followed the structures I was given — faith, corporate identity, expectations — rising through 25+ years in corporate America while quietly carrying a whisper that something deeper was waiting.
That whisper eventually led me through a profound dismantling. My career ended. My marriage ended. My financial security collapsed. And in that unraveling, I found something I hadn’t expected: a more honest, more grounded version of myself.
That journey became Embrace Your Truth: Unleashing the Courage in You — a book not about self-help, but about self-remembrance. It bridges the world of traditional faith and spiritual expansion, corporate life and inner truth, structure and authentic freedom.
Today I create space as a living sanctuary and bridge-builder for people navigating their own unraveling — not to fix them or give them something they don’t have, but to help them reconnect with what has always been within.
I guide people through real transformation: from judgment into self-love, from hiding into honesty, from inherited beliefs into their own inner clarity.
Because the transformation people are seeking doesn’t come from becoming someone new. It comes from remembering who they’ve always been.
Ed’s work isn’t built around answers — it’s built around the right questions. Questions that don’t push… but gently open something within.
“Who are you… beneath the pressure, the pain, and the roles you’ve been carrying?”
“What story have you been telling yourself for so long… it now feels like truth?”
“What would it feel like to meet yourself with compassion instead of judgment?”
“What if nothing needs to be added… only remembered?”
