Ed,
Even though you may not get as many responses as you desire,please continue to write parts two and three on this subject.
I know I have sent some single people to this website since learning of it myself and they are enjoying the read.
Now on this subject of internet dating, I have not formed an opinion. I have been on two sites and I have come to the conclusion it may not be my first choice to dating.
I have found out that I am a person who need to be in a friendship with a guy long before I enter a romantic relationship.
So I guess, I am suggesting that unless someone take the time to learn their dating style, online dating may or may not be a great fit.

How come that you can’t see God in there? I have found a great Christian man through an Internet dating site. I hope you won’t shut your doors. Perhaps God will work in this way. It’s good you’re not limiting Him or anything. God bless you.

First, thank you for accepting my friendship on FACE. I’m always interested and want to learn more about this single Christian life I’m living. I honestly have tried joining a few Internet Dating sites and felt out of place. I just couldn’t find God in it. And the few that I did join were supposed to Christian Dating sites. I quickly had to leave because within my spirit it just wasn’t pleasing to Him. My question has always been, “Could we use the world’s way of doing things and reverse it God’s way of doing things?” I mean, would He be pleased with it? I believe it’s just the ‘old-fashioned’ way of boy meeting girl whether at church, the supermarket, church functions, outings, TRUSTED friends referrals, etc. But hey! I will never put our Father God in a box! He does things that seems like He wouldn’t or shouldn’t be there! Look at Isaiah 55:8 for His response. Christian Internet dating is great for many! So I’m not knocking it for them…it’s just not for me. Great article Mr. Houston. I will read more as time allows. Bless you, Darnell
